Can I do a forest bathing outing by myself or do I need to bring a partner/friend?

  • You can come by yourself or bring someone to join you.  There will be other participants with whom you can connect. 

How long does forest bathing take?

  • Outings are less than a mile of slow meandering and usually last about two hours.

What do I need to bring?

  • Water bottle
  • Sweatshirt
  • Hat
  • Sunglasses
  • Sunscreen
  • Comfortable shoes that are easy to get on and off
  • An open heart ❤️

How strenuous is a forest bathing outing?

  • Forest bathing outings are slow and mindful, and you might not move very far from the meeting place. At some point you might even be drawn to sit or lay down.

What will we be doing?

  • We first awaken our senses with an invitation called Pleasures of Presence.
  • This is followed by and invitation to visually immerse yourself in the moment.
  • A series of invitations are then offered to explore your surroundings in depth using one of your senses.
  • After each invitation we share what we noticed.
  • The walk ends with tea.
